Why route density matters more than drive-time optimization
Optimizing the order of today’s stops saves minutes. Keeping the same neighborhoods on the same day every quarter saves hours. At the IRS 2026 business mileage rate (76 cents a mile from July 1), every extra 10 miles between stops costs about $7.60 in vehicle cost before you count the tech’s paid drive time. What is the best scheduling software for a small pest control company?
It depends on whether you want pest-specific features or published pricing. See our side-by-side comparison - it includes tools other than ours.
Will it optimize routes automatically?
The plan is zone-day scheduling first (who gets serviced on which day) and stop ordering second. Stop ordering will use a mapping provider; we will say which one when it ships.
Does it work for mosquito or seasonal-only programs?
Seasonal programs (e.g. every 21 days, April-October) are a cadence type in the plan. Tell us on the form if this is your main service.
